For the purchase of cardboard packaging for various ships, PP Group is switching to sustainable cardboard with the FSC quality label. The company will be switching later this year. These ships will bear the FSC quality label by the end of 2020.
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), is an international organisation that encourages responsible forest management. FSC creates global standards for forest management with an associated quality label. The FSC Nederland foundation strives to increase the proportion of FSC timber and paper in the Netherlands.
We are proud of the fact that we have been able to conclude agreements with our suppliers so that we will shortly be able to make the cardboard on our ships sustainable and to certify it.
