Fish for Life

Parlevliet & Van der Plas is a successful family business with over 8,000 employees. This company with its head office in the municipality of Katwijk (South Holland) has grown rapidly in recent years. Together with our subsidiaries we are now the biggest fish-processing company in Western Europe and we are in the top 25 globally. Parlevliet & Van der Plas’ motto is: We leave the capital in the sea but our customers can benefit from the interest.

With healthy animal protein Parlevliet & Van der Plas makes a contribution to a good diet and a healthy lifestyle. Our pelagic fish also have a very small footprint in terms of CO2 and water consumption. Our fishing methods are sustainable, which we have independently tested. We have signed a ‘memorandum of understanding’ with Greenpeace on sustainable fishing and the use of fishing grounds.
