As a global player in the fishing and fish processing industries we have a major responsibilities. Responsibilities towards the natural resources we depend on, and towards the people we employ. We catch fish in a sustainable manner so future generations can also benefit from this valuable source of food.

To ensure our impact on the environment is minimised

We fish in such a way that fish stocks and natural marine habitats remain healthy and productive

The world of PP is a community of various cultures, countries, people and markets

Being part of this community we also feel responsibility to support local initiatives

We have MSC certification for our North Sea herring and North Atlantic herring fisheries

The independent and well respected label for sustainable fisheries

We work with an exacting quality control system

Using strict standards we monitor our production at every stage
